Job description
Machine OperatorResponsible for the efficient operation of the machine to produce parts in accordance to customer drawings, internal sketches and/or other forms of instructions.Essential functions:Capable to set and operate programs and machineryMust be able to follow instructions and able to read production ticketsMust be able to demonstrate ability to perform visual inspection utilizing measuring tapes.Ensure correct material is prepared for scheduled orders according to work order information.Obtain knowledge of door styles, sizes, tolerances and conversion from millimeters to inches.Attention to detailAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)Supports Safety and good housekeeping in maintaining a safe work place environment.Performs other related duties as requiredKnowledge, Skill and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in EnglishBasic math skillsAbility to use and read a tape measureJob Type: Full-time, Day ShiftPhysical Requirements: Constant standing (8-9 hours daily), bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting a minimum of 25 pounds.Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: On-SitePay: 16.50/hr.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
