Job description
Join to apply for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - NICU RN - Travel Nurse role at TotalMed . We have an immediate travel nurse opening in San Bernardino, CA.
As a NICU RN, you will provide critical care to sick and premature infants, support parents, and assist the care team round‑the‑clock .
Responsibilities
Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life.
Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
Change dressings and insert catheters as needed.
Qualifications
1‑2 years of acute‑care experience.
Certification(s): BLS, NRP, NIH.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift 10–20 pounds, and stand for long periods.
Ability to manage hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.
Other Requirements
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
