Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - NICU RN - Travel Nurse

Responsibilities
Care for infants transitioning to extrauterine life.
Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
Change dressings, insert catheters, and start intravenous therapy.
Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
Qualifications
Relevant certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE.
Minimum 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, and lift 10–20 pounds of equipment.
Awareness of potential hazards from chemical exposure and infectious diseases.
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
