Position Overview
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – Per Diem (NNP) – Central Florida – US News & World Report Top Ranked Hospital System, at Lake Mary Hospital, newest addition to the Orlando Health family.
Key Facts
Hospital opening early 2025; projected annual deliveries 1,000 with ADC 6-7 in newborn nursery.
Level II NICU projected ADC 5-6 by year end, with 2,000 deliveries and 24/7 coverage.
Team includes neonatologists, NNPs, and pediatric hospitalists. Neonatologist onsite 8 hours daily, will take call from home, must be in a 30‑minute on‑call response radius.
NNP schedule of 12‑ and 24‑hour shifts.
Supported by Orlando Health flagship NICU at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies (142‑bed, Level‑IV NICU).
Qualifications
Current APRN national specialty certification.
Minimum of a master’s degree.
Florida license required.
Certified NNP with recent experience required.
