Job description
Carle Health is seeking Neonatal Physician Assistants to join our Level III NICU team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.Full-time and part-time positions available
Join a growing team of 8 Nurse Practitioners and 6 Neonatologists
48-bed NICU including a 14-bed step-down unit
Dedicated 24-hour Neonatologist Physician team coverage
Schedule will consist of a combination of 10-24 hour shifts, depending on experience
600+ admissions and 3000+ deliveries per year
Attend high risk deliveries and perform standard NICU procedures such as: intubation, lumbar punctures, PICC lines, Umbilical Catheterization, and chest tubes
Dedicated Neonatal and Perinatal air and ground transport team
Flexible schedule including evenings/nights and holidays
Education Requirements:
Master's degree in Physician Assistant
PA applicants will need to have completed a NICU APP Fellowship or have previous experience practicing as a NICU PA
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Current Illinois physician assistant licensure
