Job description
Position Overview We are seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist for per diem locum coverage at Summerville Medical Center , located just outside of Charleston, South Carolina. Join a collaborative team of experienced Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) providing high-quality care in a Level III NICU.
Candidates must be available for one or more of the following coverage dates:
August 29 September 4
September 12 September 18
October 10 October 16
Schedule 24-hour coverage consisting of daily NICU rounding with call from home or your hotel.
Practice This Level III NICU has an average daily census of 14 and offers on-site Maternal-Fetal Medicine support. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of Neonatologists and NNPs dedicated to delivering exceptional neonatal care.
Responsibilities Daily NICU rounding
Inpatient neonatal care
Call coverage from home or hotel
Collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team
Qualifications Board Certified in Neonatology
Active South Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)
DEA required
