Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group , in partnership with Rapides Womenâs and Childrenâs Hospital (RWCH) , is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neonatologist to join our growing team in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Collaborative 2 Neonatologist / 4 NNP model
NNPs in-house 24 hours a day
Home call for Neonatologists after rounds
1,500â“2,000 deliveries annually
Newborn nursery rounds
NNP-led transport team (physician covers in-house during transports)
Youâll be part of a collegial, evidence-based team focused on quality-driven protocols and continuous improvement in neonatal care.

A 19-bed pediatric unit , 29-bed well-baby nursery , and 26-bed OB/post-partum unit
