Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology
Job Details:
Full-time opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a well-established Level III NICU team in the greater Charlotte, NC region
Work collaboratively alongside 2 neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs serving families across Gaston and surrounding counties
NNPs provide 20 hours/day of shift coverage, collaborating with neonatologists who provide in-house daytime coverage and home call at night
Provide clinical care in the Level III NICU and assist with coverage in the newborn nursery
NICU sees approximately 320 admissions and 1,900 births annually with an average daily census of 10
Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing required
APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP required (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications not accepted)
Minimum 2+ years of current experience as an NNP required (RN experience does not count toward this requirement)
Active North Carolina APRN license required (or willingness to obtain)
DEA must be obtained prior to start
Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) required at presentation
