Job description
Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Join a dynamic team of professionals providing exceptional neonatal care in beautiful Jacksonville, Florida. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work across multiple hospitals in a collaborative environment, with strong clinical support and an extraordinary coastal lifestyle.
Job Responsibilities: Provide neonatal care in Level II NICUs and normal newborn nurseries
Full-time NNP role with a mix of -hour shifts for optimal work life balance
Attend deliveries (no transport responsibilities required)
Deliver care across four hospitals within: St. Vincent s Health System (2 facilities)
HCA Hospitals (2 facilities)
Be assigned to a specific healthcare system
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including: 6 Neonatologists
1 Pediatrician
16 Advanced Practice Providers
Function with a high level of autonomy , supported by: In-house neonatologist coverage
On-call neonatologist backup
Participate in a team-oriented, collegial environment
This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
Qualifications: APRN National Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) REQUIRED
Master s Degree REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year NNP experience REQUIRED
Florida APRN License (or willingness to obtain) REQUIRED
Clean Malpractice/License History PREFERRED
Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) REQUIRED
DEA (must be obtained prior to start) REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements: Current Florida APRN License (or willingness to obtain)
