Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology Summary:
Join a collaborative and experienced NICU team in the vibrant Kansas City, Missouri metro area. This facility features a 49-bed Level-IIIB NICU and additional support facilities that offer a range of neonatal services, including advanced ventilator support. The regional perinatal referral center provides a family-friendly ambiance, with services such as the NICU Family Support program and individual suites designed for family needs. Job Responsibilities: Provide care to neonates in a multi-facility NICU environment.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and educational programs.
Engage actively in the unit s operations and clinical practice.
Support the NICU Family Support program to enhance family-centered care.
Encourage new graduates through a tailored transition program into the NNP role.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of patient and family experiences.
Qualifications: Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
Minimum of a Master s Degree in Nursing.
Strong interest in participating in ongoing professional development.
Passion for family-centered care and support for NICU families.
License and Certification Requirements: Current APRN national specialty certification (Neonatal Nurse Practitioner).
Active Missouri Nursing License (or willingness to obtain).
DEA and CSR/CDS obtained prior to start date.
Recent NPDB Self Query Report (active within 30 days).
