General Summary In collaboration with the physician, provides diagnosis and treatment of patients within the scope of practice as defined by all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, protocols, etc. and within the individual Advanced Practice Provider's (APP) particular clinical specialty area, licensure, and competency level.

What You?ll Champion:
Join our Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) team at York Hospital, supporting a high?acuity, 44?bed Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Central Pennsylvania.
Qualified candidates include NNPs and Physician Assistants with successful completion of a post-graduate Neonatology residency program, Neonatology fellowship program, or a minimum of two years of NICU experience
24?hour call shifts, averaging approximately 13 shifts per 8?week schedule
Shift options include 7:00 a.m.?7:00 a.m.
Collaborate with a highly experienced team of 5 Neonatologists and 8 full?time Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
Enjoy a high level of clinical autonomy with full neonatology physician support
Provide care for ELGAN and critically ill neonates
State?of?the?art neonatal technology, including jet ventilators and oscillator ventilators
Dedicated in?unit lactation consultants, respiratory therapists, and clinical pharmacists
Multidisciplinary specialty support from Pediatric Surgery (Johns Hopkins), Neurology, Neurosurgery, and Ophthalmology

Qualifications
Minimum Education: Masters Degree For Nurse Practitioner. Required or
Bachelors Degree For Physician Assistant. Required
Masters Degree For Physician Assistant. Preferred
Work Experience: 1 year Relevant experience. Required
Licenses: Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required or
Neonatal Advanced Life Support Certification Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training: BLS and/or ACLS and/or NALS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
