Provider Must Be Willing to Cover Both Lititz and Harrisburg Locations

Compensation:
24 Hour Call - $4675 per 24 hours
Schedule
24-Hour In-House Shifts
Daytime NICU Coverage: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
Nighttime NICU Coverage: 4:30 PM-8:30 AM
Minimum of 7 Days of Availability Per Month
Approximately 12 Shifts Per Month Needed
Patient Population / Volume
Patient Population: 100% Pediatric / Neonatal
Level III NICU
Approximately 1-3 Admissions While On Call
Full Range of Level III NICU Patients
Prematurity and Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants
Gestational Age 22+ Weeks
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide 24-Hour In-House Neonatology Coverage
Perform Daily NICU Rounds
Provide Ongoing Care and Management of NICU Patients
Provide Delivery Room Coverage
Provide Prenatal Consultations as Needed
Support Neonatal Transport Services
Manage Premature and Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants
Manage Pediatric General Surgery Cases
Provide High-Frequency Ventilation Including HFOV and HFJV
Provide Therapeutic Hypothermia
Provide Routine and Advanced NICU Care
Nighttime Coverage at the Lititz Location Is Solo

Endotracheal Intubation
Umbilical Line Placement
Chest Tube Placement
Neonatal Resuscitation
Routine NICU Procedures
High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV)
High-Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV)
Therapeutic Hypothermia
Clinical Environment / Support
Daytime Coverage Team Includes Neonatologists and Neonatal APPs
Nighttime Coverage at the Lititz Location Is Solo
Provider Must Be Comfortable Working Independently During Solo Coverage
Requirements
Board Certified - Required
Minimum of 1 Year of Neonatology Experience - Required
Active Pennsylvania Medical License - Required at Application
IMLC Accepted
NRP - Required
DEA - Required
Provider Must Be Willing to Cover Both Locations
Minimum Availability of 7 Days Per Month - Required
Credentialing
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 Days
