Job description
Hospital seeking a Neonatologist to assist during a LOA starting March 2027 or sooner.
Dates of Coverage: Full-time replacement during provider LOA anticipated for March 2027 but depending on circumstances could occur sooner. Schedule: Providers typically work 8 am to 4 pm on site with call the remainder 16 hours, alternating weeks, one on and one off. Call Coverage: Yes Call Type: "Beeper/Phone Call" Call Ratio: Not sure, will be answered by lead neonatologist Average Amount of Call Back Hours: Not sure, will be answered by lead neonatologist # of Providers Needed: Yes, hours could be filled by multiple providers with part-time hours. Reason for Coverage: Anticipated gap in coverage during permanent provider planned LOA Practice Setting(s): "Inpatient/Hospital-Based" Leadership Position/Required to Teach: No Patient Population: 100% neonate % Outpatient vs Inpatient: 100% inpatient Average # of Patients Per Day: 14 Trauma Level Designation: Level 3 NICU Required Duties, Procedures, Skills, etc: NRP, intubation, UVC, LP, PICC, etc. usual level 3 skills. EMR/Documentation: Epic Additional Notes: Lead neonatologist can explain scheduling to any candidates during department interview.
