Neonatologist Opening Savannah, GA Located in Savannah, GeorgiaFull-Time, Permanent Practice Overview Full-time Neonatologist opportunity at a 92-bed Level IV NICU serving as a major regional referral center in Southeast Georgia Join a collaborative neonatal team consisting of: 9 Neonatologists 8 experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) Provide specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns in a high-acuity NICU Participate in 24/7 in-house physician coverage with a structured rotating call schedule Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists across multiple disciplines to deliver comprehensive neonatal care Supervise and support resident physicians rotating through the NICU Participate in organized daily rounding with a schedule designed to promote physician wellness Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Deliver compassionate, family-centered neonatal care within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment Practice within a large, well-supported healthcare network offering advanced clinical resources Rotating weekend coverage as part of the continuous NICU service Visa sponsorship is not available Compensation & Recruitment Package Competitive compensation based on experience Sign-on bonus available Relocation assistance available Job Qualifications MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Georgia medical license or eligibility DEA registration required prior to start Neonatology experience required Clean malpractice and licensure history strongly preferred Visa sponsorship is not available Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) Health Savings Account (HSA) Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Voluntary supplemental benefit plans Employer-supported wellness and work-life balance programs Community DetailsSavannah is one of the Southeast's most desirable coastal cities, offering historic charm, beautiful waterfront scenery, excellent restaurants, and year-round outdoor recreation.
