Permanent job openingSeeking a board certified or truly board eligible physician assistant Must have 6+ months of post-training experience as a PA in nephrology Outpatient-only positionWork collaboratively with nephrologists to evaluate and manage patients with kidney-related conditionsMonday-Friday, 9a-5p Ability to work 3-5 days per week Part-time or full-time options available Call schedule to be determinedBilingual in Spanish preferred, not required H-1B visa sponsorship available, if needed Conduct consultations, review medical histories, and perform patient assessmentsEvaluate kidney function and develop individualized treatment plansTreat and manage kidney-related illnesses and monitor patient progressOrder and review appropriate diagnostic testingAssess the need for dialysis and coordinate recommendations with the nephrology teamRefer patients for surgical evaluation when indicatedPrescribe and administer medications within scope of practiceEducate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and ongoing careComplete accurate and timely clinical documentationMaster's degree from an accredited PA program in New York StateProficiency in nephrology care requiredStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and written and verbal communicationExcellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to patient careEMR: eClinicalWorks Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
