Call 1:5 and every 5th weekend
Hospitalist team assists 24/7 with admissions
Job description Hiring a Nephrologist to join a thriving, busy private practice in Knoxville, Tennessee. The group provides all aspects of renal care, including inpatient and outpatient care, AKI/CKD care, peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, plasmapheresis, CRRT, and pre- and post-transplant follow-up for kidney transplant patients.
Practice Overview:
• Join 3 Nephrologists and 1 Physician Assistant
• Call 1:4 an d every 4th weekend
• Cover 1 hospital located in downtown Knoxville
• Group goes to 6 dialysis clinics throughout the area
• Hospitalist team assists 24/7 with admissions

-430 ESRD
-1:4 week-long inpatient coverage, 1:4 weekends
-Non-inpatient weeks: 10-20 office patients/day, 1
day/week with no scheduled patients
-APPs will assist with dialysis rounding in the hospital features: 51 emergency room beds and 72 critical care beds (Cardiovascular ICU, Medical-Surgical ICU, Neuro-ICU) 17 surgery suites and 5 cath labs Specialized centers including a Heart Center, Pulmonary Hypertension Center of Excellence, and Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Hospital Certified by The Joint Commission and CARF, with multiple accreditations in stroke care, cardiology, bariatrics, orthopedics, and maternity services.
