Job description
Nephrologist Opportunity Äì Lake Charles, LA - Beaumont TX 1hr; Baton Rouge 2 hrPosition Details Seeking a Nephrologist to work in Lake Charles, LA to diagnose and manage patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases, including hypertension, fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base disorders.
Provides care for patients with end-stage renal disease, including dialysis management and pre- and post-kidney transplant care.
Performs nephrology-related procedures including kidney biopsies, placement of temporary vascular access, and ultrasonography of the kidneys.
Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Provides inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up care for nephrology patients.
Engages in quality improvement initiatives to optimize clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Mentors residents and other healthcare team members.
Remains current with advances in nephrology and adopt best practices.
