Network Field Service EngineerThe territory would be Upper Valley NH/VT. Mostly the RT89/91 corridor from Barre to Keene.Id say 50% remote work from home and 50% at the office onsite in Lebanon, NH. Mileage paid for.Project work including:Desktop installsNetwork hardware installations (Switches, WAPS)Firewall InstallationsUnified Communication (VoIP) installations-(voice over internet protocol)ISP CutoversAssisting other engineers with project tasksPre-scheduled onsite/remote visits with clients to perform IT ChecklistNetwork Administration tasks (tasks include server health checks, test backup/restores, antivirus updates, OS service packs, critical updates, and server event log reviews)Act as an internal Network Administrator, resolve network problems as necessary.Review network infrastructure and make recommendations for improvements.On-Site dispatchesScheduled onsite dispatches for issues the NOC cannot resolve remotely.Products and Services:Local & Wide Area NetworksNetwork Operating Systems (2019, 2022, RDS)Messaging Systems (Primarily Exchange/M365)SecurityFirewalls, Routers and Managed SwitchesDesktop Productivity Tools (Office Suites)Desktop Operating Systems (Win10/11)Prerequisites:Excellent people skillsOrganized with the ability to follow through.Understanding and experience with Microsoft Windows products, local and wide area networks, hardware, and desktop operating systems.Professional Development plan to enable FST engineer to advance to Systems Engineer/Senior Systems Engineer
