Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer II to join a growing Network Security DevOps organization focused on modernizing enterprise firewall and network security services across global environments.
Contract: 12+ Months with potential for Extension/Full-Time Conversion
Key Skills Required
Automation: Ansible, Terraform, Python
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support enterprise firewall environments
Manage Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper firewall platforms
Build infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, Python, REST APIs, Jenkins, GitHub, YAML, and Jinja2
Support cloud-based virtual firewalls in AWS and Azure
Troubleshoot network/security incidents using FortiAnalyzer and Splunk
Participate in global operations and on-call support
Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams
Required Experience
5+ years in Network Security Engineering/Operations
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, ACLs, DNS, routing/switching
Hands‑on experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer preferred
Nice to Have
Oil & Gas industry experience strongly preferred
SD-WAN exposure
Security certifications (Fortinet, Cisco, CISSP, GIAC)
