Job description
GuidePoint Security is a leading cybersecurity solutions and services firm that partners with federal government agencies to deliver advanced network protection. We are expanding our federal presales engineering team and are looking for a highly skilled Network Security Engineer.
Location : 100% onsite at multiple government sites throughout the D.C. metro area.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the design, implementation, and sustainment of enterprise class cybersecurity technologies.
Plan and execute policy changes on next-generation firewalls.
Assist in analysis and design of a worldwide network security architecture.
Administer configuration changes on enterprise load balancers, including TLS inspection.
Lead special projects independently and as part of a team.
Investigate and document security-related incidents.
Implement corrective measures in response to emerging network security threats.
Brief senior leadership and government stakeholders on the enterprise network security posture.
Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance (Polygraph preferred) required prior to starting.
Experience with Juniper SRX, Palo Alto, F5, Cisco FTD/ASA, Gigamon, FireEye, and RSA NetWitness.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ minimum).
Clearance requirement: active Top Secret with SCI clearance (Polygraph preferred).
