Position : Network Support Engineer
Location: Blue Springs, MS
Length: 12 month contract to hire (with potential long-term extensions and possible conversion after 6 months)
Rate: $85,000- $98,000/yr

Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Network Support Engineer to support large-scale manufacturing operations in Blue Springs, MS. This individual will play a key role in deploying, supporting, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions within a highly visible Cisco-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on networking experience, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for maintaining reliable, high-performance systems. This opportunity offers exposure to enterprise-grade technologies, plant network environments, and long-term growth potential while supporting critical infrastructure initiatives that directly impact business operations.
Day-to-Day:
Plan, configure, implement, and document enterprise network solutions
Deploy LAN infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions across manufacturing plants
Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues
Optimize network availability, reliability, and performance
Support Cisco WAN/LAN/WLAN environments
Track and validate network hardware deployments and upgrades
Serve as an escalation point for complex networking issues
Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions
Partner with technical and business stakeholders to design scalable solutions aligned to operational needs
Requirements:
2-5 years supporting enterprise network environments
3+ years utilizing network monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Grafana, Zabbix, PagerDuty, Site24x7, or Nagios
Strong experience with LAN switching technologies including ACI, VXLAN, Fabric Path, and Spanning Tree
Experience supporting Cisco-based network environments
Hands-on knowledge of routers, firewalls, wireless networks, security solutions, and WAN/LAN/WLAN infrastructure
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
Plusses:
Fortune 500 enterprise environment experience
Scripting or automation experience (Python, Perl, Terraform, etc.)
CCNA certification
CompTIA Security+ certification
Cybersecurity certifications
