Network / System AdministrationPosition Name: Level 3 Networking/System Admin in Blaine, WA. Please see the essential experience requirements below. This position requires advanced networking and systems knowledge, it is not a desktop support role.Requirement: TWIC Certification is preferredPPE Requirement: Fire Resistant coveralls, safety toe boots, hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protectionAddress: Cherry Point Refinery 4519 Grandview Road Blaine, WA 98230Scope of work: The BP Cherry Point Refinery is seeking two resources, assigned to the Cherry Point Instrumentation and Electrical department and Refining Computing Team. These systems are typically non-bp1 but need to be maintained to GDP standards. These resources will play a critical role in the cybersecurity compliance of the Cherry Point Refinery maintenance computers, networks, and applications and will assist in the overall upkeep of these assets.Accountabilities / Responsibilities:Cybersecurity focusProvide technical support for IT assetsCybersecurity (Antivirus) & security patchesBackups and images of all IT assetsRecovery and reporting of compromised systemsDay-to-day maintenance of computer assetsSoftware management and installation of software on IT assetsEnsures hardware, cabling, and supporting accessories are serviceable and availablePreferred Education: 2-year or 4-year technical degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information SystemsEssential Experience:Thorough understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, Client/Server, Ethernet, LAN)Domain / Active Directory knowledgeProven skills in troubleshooting system problemsStrong communication skills (oral and written)Ability to convey technical concepts and issues to non-technical staffStrong customer service skills and the ability to maintain a professional attitude when working with Customers, Peers, and ManagementA high level of motivation and a bias for actionHighly structured/organized with attention to accuracy and detailExperience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented/collaborative environment; as well as experience working independently, including task identification & prioritization.
