GeBBS Consulting is a healthcare technology professional services and consulting firm based in Towson, Maryland servicing clients throughout the US. We are celebrating our 28th year in business. We have two divisions: 1) Hospital / Provider Practice 2) Managed Care / Payer Practice – we work directly with health plans (very strong in the Blue Cross Blue Shield space). Summary: Our client is looking for a Network Technician to support network infrastructure across hospital and satellite locations. This position will assist with the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of network hardware, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
The role will also assist with network closet buildouts, cable management, firewall deployments, and onsite troubleshooting. The candidate must be comfortable performing hands-on technical work and traveling locally to satellite facilities as needed.
Location : 100% onsite in Belcamp, MD
Required Skills:
Basic knowledge of networking, including switching, routing, and firewalls
Hands-on experience with network switches and firewalls
CompTIA Network+ certification or equivalent experience
Basic network xhqgsiq troubleshooting skills
Ability to perform hands-on onsite technical work
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed
