Job description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing neurointerventional radiologic procedures and providing high-quality patient care. This role involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the successful execution of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Schedule
7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, on-call every other weekend; 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Perform neurointerventional procedures, including angiograms and embolizations, under the supervision of a physician.
Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety standards are met.
Monitor patient vitals and provide immediate care as needed during procedures.
Assist in the development of treatment plans and provide input on patient care strategies.
Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience
IR and neurointerventional experience
Required Education
Associate's degree in radiologic technology
Required Certifications/Licensure
ARRT(R)
NYS License
BLS Certification
