Job description
Maximus Federal is seeking a Neurologist to join our Medical Consultant panel as an Expert Medical Reviewer to conduct medical judgment appeals. Role Overview:
Conduct peer reviews to determine whether clinical decisions during specific encounters meet the standard of care.
Support quality management initiatives to improve healthcare delivery in VA medical facilities.
Compensation:
$150 – $550 per case
Requirements:
Board-certified Neurologist with 5+ years of experience
Actively providing direct patient care 20+ hours/month
Willingness to work as a 1099 at-will contractor
Work Arrangement: Flexible REMOTE
