Job description
BayCare Medical Group is hiring a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist for a brand-new Manatee HealthHub outpatient facility opening in Summer 2026 . The facility will be located on the campus of BayCare Hospital Manatee, slated to open in 2028.
Responsibilities
Provide general neurology care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings; sub‑specialty-trained candidates are welcome.
Deliver neurology services prior to hospital opening to establish community presence, develop referral relationships, and build trust in the BayCare brand.
Integrate into clinical teams and develop care pathways ahead of hospital start‑up, ensuring hospital‑based neurology coverage is in place from day one to support acute and consultative needs.
Participate in tele‑neurology services (no stroke call).
Utilize the Manatee Health‑Hub’s lab and imaging resources, including 3T MRI, X‑ray, CT, PET CT, mammography, DEXA, and ultrasound.
Qualifications
Position requires Board Certification or Eligibility by The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
