Job description
Role Overview: This position provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. The role emphasizes patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient values and cultural considerations.
Qualifications and Skills: Required qualifications include a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree and active RN licensure. No prior experience is necessary, but a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and two years of experience are preferred. The role involves working in a safety-sensitive environment, requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Duties: Educating patients and families, ensuring effective communication across care teams, and proactively managing patient needs. The role also involves participating in professional development and maintaining compliance with safety standards.
