Job description
This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining and purchasing equipment, and tracking departmental statistics. The role requires supervising staff, including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development to ensure departmental goals are met. Responsibilities also include staffing planning, budget adherence, and overseeing patient interventions based on individual needs, with documentation in accordance with policies.
Additional duties encompass managing staff productivity, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring operational efficiency. The role may involve participating in staff scheduling, payroll reconciliation, and communication. Qualifications include an RN license, with a preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Experience ranges from 2-5 years for basic roles, with advanced roles requiring 5-10 years and prior supervisory experience.
