Neurology Opportunity in Ashland, KYA leading regional healthcare system serving eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist to join a well-established and collaborative neurology program. This is a full-time employed opportunity offering strong compensation, excellent work-life balance, and robust specialty support.Practice DetailsFull-time employed General Neurology position Primarily outpatient practice Infrequent inpatient call with no after-hours call (teleneuro coverage after 5 PM) Flexible schedule with seven weeks of time off Established team of 4 neurologists with subspecialty expertise EPIC EMR system Clinical ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage a wide range of neurological conditions Perform and interpret EEG, ambulatory EEG, V-EEG, and NCV/EMG Provide outpatient care with limited inpatient responsibilities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including neurosurgery and PM&R Maintain accurate documentation and patient care plans Support & ResourcesStrong specialty support including neurosurgery, vascular surgery, PM&R, and neuropsychology Certified Primary Stroke Center with advanced stroke care capabilities Dedicated neurodiagnostic technicians Large referral network across 20 regional hospitals Service area of approximately 750,000 patients Compensation & BenefitsSalary guarantee plus wRVU productivity and quality incentives (income potential $400,000+) Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Paid malpractice coverage Retirement plan options Student loan assistance Generous PTO and CME allowance RequirementsMD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology Eligible for Kentucky medical licensure Strong clinical and diagnostic skills J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available Community Highlights - Ashland, KentuckySafe, family-friendly community with low cost of living Access to outdoor recreation including hiking, fishing, and boating Proximity to state and national parks Convenient drive to Cincinnati, Columbus, and Lexington Strong schools and welcoming community atmosphere
