Coverage Type: Inpatient Neurology
Schedule & Setting
36 hours per week
Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week
Mix of day and night shifts
Inpatient neurology service
Patient Volume
Average census: 5 18 patients
Resident support present
Clinical Responsibilities
Inpatient neurology patient management
Stroke patient evaluation and treatment
Collaborative care alongside neurology team and residents
Practice Model
Work within hospital-based neurology department
Team-based care environment
EMR
Hospital-based EMR utilized
Requirements
Physician Assistant certification
Stroke experience required
Preferred: Two years of applicable clinical experience
