Neurohospitalist Opportunity in Central ConnecticutSpecialty: Neurology Neurohospitalist Location: Meriden & New Britain, CT Job Type: Permanent Details: - Join the Ayer Neuroscience Institute at Hartford HealthCare - Inpatient consultative neurology service at two Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Centers: The first, a 156 beds location The second which holds 414 beds- Manage acute neurological cases across ED, floors, and ICUs - 24 weeks per year inpatient coverage (7-day blocks, 8AM 8PM) - Evening weekend coverage via teleneurology - Stroke care experience required - Opportunity to teach residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers - Engage in QI projects, clinical research, public lectures, and educational sessions - Participate in weekly Grand Rounds and monthly lecture series Requirements: - BE/BC in Neurology - Eligible for Connecticut medical license - Interest in academic involvement and patient experience initiatives Compensation and Benefits: - Competitive salary - Comprehensive benefits package - Academic and professional growth opportunities - Work within a collaborative, physician-led network Location Highlights: - Live within two hours of Boston and New York City - Enjoy top-rated schools, beaches, skiing, four-season recreation, and housing from coastal to suburban to urban areas
