Locums - Petoskey, Michigan, Neurologist Opening
Start Date: 11/1/26 Expected Duration: Ongoing
Coverage & Schedule:
Regular onsite hours: 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Outpatient clinic: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m., within the regular onsite day 24-hour weekend call: 8:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. After-hours call coverage required When outpatient appointments are not scheduled, provider is expected to remain onsite for hospital coverage Patient Volume & Clinical Scope:
Approximately 6-8 patients per day EEG reads for inpatient and outpatient patients as needed Radiologic exam interpretation Lumbar puncture/spinal tap EEG Brain death examinations Evoked potentials Support & Systems:
EMR: Cerner Requirements:
Board Certified in Neurology - Required; Board Eligible not accepted Active Michigan license required at time of name clear Provider must be local - Required Active DEA - Required BLS and ACLS - Required NIH Stroke Scale/tPA competency - Preferred What is great about Petoskey, Michigan:
