Licensed Veterinary Technician in Neurology at VCA Midwest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center | Omaha, NE
Schedule: Full-time, 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday.
Compensation: $24–$32/hr. The starting pay is based on licensure, skill set, and years of experience. A $4,000 sign-on bonus is available to eligible new hires. Terms and conditions apply.

What You'll Do
As a Neurology Veterinary Technician, you'll work closely with our neurologists to provide exceptional patient care throughout the diagnostic and treatment process.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with neurological examinations and patient assessments
Prepare patients for MRI, CT, and advanced diagnostic procedures
Monitor anesthesia and recover patients following diagnostic imaging and surgery
Assist with neurosurgical procedures
Administer medications and treatments as directed
Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection
Monitor hospitalized neurology patients and recognize changes in condition
Educate and support clients throughout diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
Maintain accurate medical records
Collaborate with specialists and technicians across multiple departments to deliver outstanding patient care
