nResponsibilities
nJoin a collaborative practice of 11 radiologists within a physician-led, financially stable Mayo Clinic Health System.
nnnPractice within your neuroradiology subspecialty , along with general hospital and emergency imaging , allowing you to maintain subspecialty focus while staying engaged in a well-rounded practice.
n
nnWork with a unified integrated EMR and PACS, and Mayo Clinic imaging protocols to balance workload and enhance efficiency across sites.
n
nnWork a predictable daytime schedule (Monday-Friday) .
n
nnAll after-hours coverage managed by a separate Mayo Clinic Health System radiology team.
n
nnConsistent daily routine and clear separation between work and personal time.
n
nn5 weekends/year - shared weekend daytime coverage and no scheduled evenings or nights. Weekend shifts can be done remotely.
n
nnInterpret studies in a dedicated individual reading office , located in a NEW (2024) state-of-the-art community hospital building with space designed to support focus, efficiency, and a high-quality reading experience.
n
nnLeverage a combination of vended and internally developed AI tools to support workflow efficiency, prioritization, and diagnostic accuracy within daily practice.
n
nnParticipate in a high-functioning, team-based environment where technology, and physics support are designed to streamline workflow and support high-quality interpretation.
n
nnFlexibility to tailor procedural involvement based on your interests. Option to perform a small volume of procedures including LP and myelogram, or more procedural volume based on individual interests and experience (including vertebral augmentation if desired). General fluoroscopy, paracentesis and thoracentesis are supported by a Radiology APP and there is no expectation to do breast imaging.

nnEngage in a practice that supports broad clinical exposure and continued subspecialty skill development , with local advanced imaging and Mayo Clinic resources.
n
nnContribute to peer review, quality initiatives, and Mayo Clinic committee activities , with opportunities to influence practice standards and collaborate across the broader Mayo Clinic system.
n
nnPractice in an efficient environment with a record of long-term sustainability, and strong collegial relationships with providers.

n nMayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, is a multispecialty group/healthcare network employing more than 250 physicians and associate providers with a primary care population base of 240,000. In addition to its main clinic/hospital in La Crosse, WI, where the position is based, we have 25-bed critical access hospital in Sparta, WI, and smaller clinics in western WI, and southern MN within a 60-mile radius of La Crosse.
nIn 2024, Mayo Clinic leaders and community officials celebrated the completion of a new Mayo Clinic Health System hospital in La Crosse , Wisconsin, which blended advanced technology with personalized care that has brought an unparalleled experience to patients and equipped staff with the tools to cure more patients, connected people with data to create new knowledge and scalable solutions and continues to transform community care.
nThe La Crosse hospital is the largest construction project in the history of Mayo Clinic Health System with six-levels and 96 beds and includes:

n nLa Crosse, WI, is a city of 52,000 with a metro area of 120,000 in the Upper Mississippi River Valley, located between Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN, and Madison, WI. The area offers unlimited, four-season recreational opportunities (biking, golf, hiking the bluffs and cross-country/downhill skiing). nThe minimum starting salary for Medical specialties may range from $208,000 to $708,168. This range reflects full-time total base compensation prior to consideration of additional experience or duties. Pay for the selected candidate will vary based on specialty, experience, FTE, internal equity, or external market data.
