The institution maintains the clinical infrastructure and protocols necessary to support on-site inpatient neurosurgical call coverage. Resources are in place to facilitate coordinated patient care delivery throughout all assigned coverage periods.

About the Clinician's Workday The neurosurgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage for inpatient neurological surgery services on an on-site basis. Coverage is required in support of trauma and comprehensive stroke programs at a Level II Trauma Center. Clinicians must maintain continuous on-site availability for surgical interventions throughout all assigned coverage periods. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment.
