Neurosurgery APP | Surgical & Neuro-ICU | (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner)
Position: Neurosurgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Location: Central Florida
Schedule: Full-Time
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Experienced provider required.
Prior neurosurgical experience preferred.
Prior surgical experience necessary.
About the Opportunity
Join an established neurosurgery team in the area with four neurosurgeons, four APPs, two neurointerventional and two neuro-hospitalists. This role combines operative, neuro-ICU, trauma and outpatient responsibilities with a high degree of autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a busy neurosurgery service.
Participate in approximately three operative days per week, including cranial and spine cases.
Perform bedside neuro-ICU and neurosurgical trauma procedures.
Provide approximately two days per week of outpatient clinic care.
Participate in shared call responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
Experienced provider required.
Prior neurosurgical experience preferred.
Prior surgical experience necessary.
