nMercyOne Des Moines is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join our collegial Neurosurgery team. We offer competitive base salary of $1.1 million with 2-yr income guarantee, $100,000 bonus, moving allowance $15,000, CME $5000 and time off 31 days up to 35 days per year, malpractice with tail coverage, 403(b) and so much more!
nOpportunity Details:
nnnCase mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain and busy trauma service

nnTwo Clinic Days/3 OR Days
n
nnNo elective cases or clinic while on Trauma Call
n
nnDedicated Clinic RN for each Physician
n
nnCall 1:4 with APP taking 1st call
n
nnAPP's primary assist with daily inpatient rounding
n
nnOn site X-Ray, CT and MRI/ Functional MRI
n
nnRobust spine center with integrated Pain and PMR
n
nnEMR : CERNER Moving to EPIC Fall 2025

n nMercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is a 622 bed Level II Trauma center that has been faithfully serving the community since 1893 and has a tertiary service area of 1.5 million. Mercy One Des Moines Medical Center offers central Iowa's only Gold Seal of Approval and Joint Commission certified Primary Stroke Center. Our closed ICU's include a dedicated Neuro Trauma ICU supported by full time Pulmonary Critical Care and Surgical Critical Care trained Physicians.
