Job Summary
Why Join Us Tenet Healthcare and DMC Medical Group are seeking a fellowship-trained skull base neurosurgeon to join a nationally recognized academic medical center in the heart of Detroit. The Detroit Medical Center is home to a newly established, fully accredited Neuro Critical Care Fellowship program, placing you at the forefront of neurosciences education and innovation. With hospital privileges across all five DMC facilities and a robust support infrastructure, you'll have the resources to practice at the highest level — and the bandwidth to pursue research if you choose.
Position Highlights Mixed practice: general neurosurgery and skull base procedures
Typical schedule: 3–4 clinic days and 1–2 OR/procedure/call days per week
Shared call among 5 providers with 8 NPs supporting inpatient rounds 24/7
Primary practice location: DMC Neurosurgery Clinic at Harper Hospital (downtown Detroit)
Hospital privileges at all 5 DMC facilities
PACS imaging on-site, directly connected to the hospital
Supportive ancillary staff and in-house billing, coding, and collections
Research participation welcomed
Free parking at all DMC facilities

Candidate Requirements MD or DO degree
Board eligible or board certified in neurological surgery
Completion of an accredited skull base fellowship required
Michigan medical license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the State of Michigan
3–5 years of clinical experience post-training
