Position : New Business Sales- AI Specialist (Hunter / Top-of-Funnel)

We're looking for someone who likes the blank page: no inherited book, no account list waiting for you, just a market that needs what we build and a team that will back you hard. You'll open new logos for Cognida, and you'll do it by understanding a customer's problem better than their incumbent supplier does.
Cognida is an AI Native Products and Services company. We take AI builders and enterprises through the whole AI lifecycle, from figuring out where AI belongs, to building it, to delivering business outcomes, using a product-based approach instead of endless billable hours and high token cost.
We work with 70+ customers across the AI builder and enterprise space, including F500 and G2000 companies and PE-backed businesses.
What you'll do
Open new relationships across enterprises, PE sponsors, their portfolio companies, and AI builders.
Take conversations with CXOs, and operating partners from first meeting to a real business case roadmap and a signed SOW.
Bring in our forward-deployed engineers, partners, and leadership when it moves a deal faster.
You’ll probably fit if you
Have 10+ years in enterprise sales, mostly hunting, ideally selling products, services, data, or AI into large enterprises or PE-backed companies.
Have built pipeline from scratch and can talk specifically about how you did it.
Are comfortable in a CFO's office as well as a CIO's.
Know the difference between an AI demo and AI running in production and can explain it to a buyer.
Like startup pace: some ambiguity, fast decisions, and a lot of ownership.
The details
Reporting to: A goal, not a human. We report to each other for outcomes not hierarchy.
Location: Remote, US. Travel to customers as needed
