Groove Subaru is looking for an experienced and motivated New Car Director to join our leadership team.

We are seeking a strong automotive professional who can drive new vehicle sales, build a high-performing team, and create an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do:

Lead and oversee the New Car Sales Department

Develop and coach Sales Managers and Sales Associates

Drive new vehicle sales volume, gross profit, and overall department profitability

Monitor and manage sales performance, KPIs, and monthly objectives

Work closely with the General Sales Manager and dealership leadership

Manage new vehicle inventory and ensure appropriate inventory levels

Monitor pricing, market conditions, incentives, and manufacturer programs

Ensure vehicles are properly merchandised and presented for sale

Help develop effective sales strategies to maximize new vehicle opportunities

Assist with forecasting and monthly sales planning

Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and CSI

Recruit, train, motivate, and retain top sales talent

Ensure dealership policies, processes, and manufacturer standards are followed

Work with Finance, Service, Parts, and Used Car departments to maximize overall dealership performance

Lead by example and create a positive, accountable, high-performance culture

Requirements

Previous experience in an automotive dealership leadership role

Proven track record of achieving new vehicle sales goals

Strong understanding of dealership operations and automotive sales processes

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Ability to coach and motivate a sales team

Strong understanding of dealership KPIs, gross profit, volume, and inventory management

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Professional appearance and positive attitude

Strong computer and CRM skills

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances

Authorized to work in the United States
