About This Role
The New Grad RN Resident in the Cardiothoracic Robotic Surgery ICU/CVICU at Cleveland Clinic provides specialized care to patients recovering from cardiac surgery, including advanced minimally invasive robotic procedures. This role is ideal for new graduates seeking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do
Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach.
Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care.
Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate corrective actions.
Seek supervision, consultation, and assistance when necessary.
Document in patients' medical records.
Requirements
Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, or BSN program) required.
Experience:
New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience required.
Licenses & Certifications:
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred for Critical Care areas.
