nJob Description
nWe are seeking motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking New Graduate Physical Therapists to join our growing team! We are hiring for our clinics throughout Long Island, Westchester, Brooklyn, Queens, Rhode Island, and Connecticut.
nAs a new grad at Metro, you'll receive individualized mentorship, hands-on learning opportunities, and the resources you need to confidently transition from student to practicing clinician. You'll work in a supportive outpatient environment alongside skilled therapists, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative team that truly values your growth.
nQualifications
nnnLicensed Physical Therapist in the state of New York or eligible.
n
nnEvaluates a patient's need for physical therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
n
nnProvide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
n
nnInstructs family members, PTA's, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate physical therapy techniques.
n
nnMandatory Certifications: First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications.

nMetro's partnership with Touro University offers a unique opportunity to pursue your Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) Residency while working full-time as a Metro employee. The program takes 12-18 months to complete and Metro covers the entire cost!
