DocCafe is currently seeking a qualified General Dentist for an exciting opportunity in Elmira, New York . This position offers a flexible schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to provide comprehensive dental care in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Position Details Location: Elmira, NY
Specialty: General Dentistry
Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM OR Four 10-hour shifts
Compensation: Competitive rates with weekly pay
Employment Type: Contract
Requirements Active New York Dental License
Current DEA Registration
Current BLS Certification
Ability to start upon successful credentialing
Responsibilities The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental services, including but not limited to:
Examining teeth and oral structures using X-rays, mirrors, and diagnostic instruments to identify abnormalities and treatment needs
Diagnosing and treating dental diseases, oral injuries, and periodontal conditions
Performing restorative procedures, including treatment of simple and complex cavities
Conducting single and multiple tooth extractions
Providing scaling and other preventive dental treatments
Diagnosing and treating infections of the teeth, mouth, and gums through medication and/or surgical intervention
Educating patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and overall dental health
Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all patient care and treatment plans
Evaluating patients for crowns, bridges, dentures, and other prosthetic appliances
Taking impressions and bite registrations and fitting final dental appliances
Supervising and providing guidance to dental assistants, hygienists, and other support staff
Participating in staff education and training activities as needed
