General Labor / Heavy Equipment Operator – Winchester, KYWe are seeking a dependable General Laborer with heavy equipment operating experience to support daily operations at a busy recycling and scrap yard facility in Winchester, KY. This is a hands-on position for someone who is self-motivated, comfortable working outdoors, and experienced operating equipment in an industrial, construction, recycling, or similar environment.Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PMKey Responsibilities:Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, front-end loaders, skid steers, or similar equipmentAssist with moving, loading, and organizing materials throughout the yardAssist with general yard cleanup, including trash removal, sweeping, and moppingHelp organize materials and perform copper stripping dutiesMove between equipment operation and general labor tasks throughout the shift as neededFollow directions and complete assigned tasks in a timely mannerWork independently with minimal supervision or as part of a teamMaintain a clean and safe work environmentWork Environment:MUST be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditionsIndustrial scrap/recycling yard environmentFrequent walking and movement throughout the yardPosition includes both equipment operation and hands-on general laborMust be comfortable working around heavy machinery and industrial materialsQualifications:Previous heavy equipment operating experience strongly preferredExperience operating a forklift, front-end loader, skid steer, or similar equipmentAbility and willingness to perform physical labor in addition to operating equipmentSelf-motivated with a strong work ethicAbility to follow directions and transition between tasks efficientlyDependable attendance and reliable transportation requiredPrevious industrial, recycling, construction, warehouse, or outdoor labor experience is a plusThis is a temp-to-hire opportunity for the right candidate.Candidates must complete an interview with the client prior to placement.
