Job description

Program runs from September 20, 2026 to April 3, 2027 $65/HOUR - NIGHTS ONLY

All seasonal RNs are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period.

Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need.

Four (4) weekend shifts are required each 4 week schedule period.

During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee).

Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Level IV NICU RNs raise the bar by providing clinical expertise and the highest quality care in the most compassionate way in our 108 bed NICU. What you will do in this role:

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care

Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources

Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies

Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice

What qualifications you will need:

ADN / BSN is required w/12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)

Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted

Must have one (1) year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital

STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date

Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date

Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
