About This Role
As a NICU Registered Nurse at Yale New Haven Health, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to infants in the neonatal intensive care unit. What You'll Do
Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families
Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Respect patients' values, preferences, and expressed needs
Collect and analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses
Develop and modify individualized care plans
Coordinate care delivery and transitions in care
Promote health and a safe environment through health teaching
Evaluate progress toward attainment of health outcomes
Requirements
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
Experience: 2 years RN experience required
NICU or Women & Children's experience preferred
Licenses & Certifications: Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
