Night Auditor Position At The Springs Resort & SpaThe Springs Resort & Spa is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Night Auditor to join our Front Office team in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate nightly financial reconciliation, maintaining guest service standards during overnight hours, and supporting the overall safety and operational continuity of the resort.This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while delivering professional guest service.Financial Reconciliation & ReportingPerform nightly audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions, room revenue, and accounts.Balance cash drawers, credit card transactions, and guest folios.Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports.Identify and resolve discrepancies in guest accounts and system postings.Complete end-of-day closeout procedures within the property management system (PMS).Guest Service & Front Desk SupportGreet and assist guests during overnight hours, including late check-ins and early departures.Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests.Address and escalate guest concerns as appropriate.Maintain knowledge of resort amenities, services, and local attractions.Safety & SecurityMonitor lobby and public areas to ensure guest safety and property security.Follow established emergency and safety protocols.Conduct routine property checks as required.Maintain key control and protect confidential guest information.Operational SupportPrepare room status reports and communicate updates to Housekeeping and Front Office leadership.Assist with early morning preparations for the Front Desk team.Maintain organized documentation of nightly activities.Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall resort operations.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Previous front desk, accounting, or hospitality experience preferred.Experience with property management systems (PMS) and basic accounting principles preferred.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities overnight.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.Physical & Work Environment RequirementsAbility to stand and sit for extended periods during a shift.Ability to use computers and office equipment for prolonged periods.Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to approximately 25 pounds.Ability to remain alert and responsive during overnight hours.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.The Springs Resort & Spa is an Equal Opportunity Employer
