Experienced Taper OpportunityAre you an experienced taper? Want to be part of a strong and effective team? This is an opportunity for a carpenter (willing to be in the Union) with commercial carpentry skills to join an experienced and fun team as we build a mid-sized woman-owned commercial general contractor based in Redmond, WA and working throughout the Puget Sound Area with premier clients. The night shift schedule is generally four ten-hour shifts per week (typically 7pm-5am or 9pm-7am). We offer our carpenters with 12 months tenure a 401(k) plan with 4% matching contribution.This is a company where mutual respect matters and an employee's knowledge, skills, driven work ethic, and balanced family life are valued. They may include:Identify any workplace safety hazards and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize themPerform quality workmanship which conforms to Corti quality standards, client expectations, plans and specificationsAssist in the training and development of apprenticesMaintain clean and organized job sites and work areasEducation & Experience:Prefer successful experience with a commercial general contractor, with at least six years carpentry experienceSkilled at wall finishingAbility to work night shiftHS diploma or equivalentValid driver licenseAbility to read electronic plans and use computer software such as MS OfficeExcellent teamwork, problem solving, and communication skillsCompensation set by Carpenter's Union:Journeyman: $66.98 per hourBenefits we offered thru the Carpenter's Union:Medical/Dental/Vision/EAP401kLife and AD&D insuranceVacation/PTO payAdditionally, we offer:401(k) with 4% match for carpenters with 12 months tenureShort-term & long-term disability insuranceWe are a smoke and vape-free workplace.
