Job description
Custodial Positions AvailableCustodians shall report, and provide support to the building principal, their building's head custodian and perform a variety of tasks including cleaning, maintenance and general care of the building and grounds. Primary responsibility is to ensure students and staff have a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play, work and develop.Duties & QualificationsExperience in custodial and plant operationsAbility and willingness to perform general custodial dutiesAbility to work with machinery and technology consistent with building useProven ability to work courteously with other staff and publicMust be reliable, able to work as part of a teamMassachusetts drivers license requiredAbility to lift 40 lbs.Satisfactory CORI/SORI/Background CheckOther duties may be assigned by the building principal or Director of Finance and OperationsTwo hour asbestos awareness training required within 30 days of employmentReports To: Building PrincipalSalary: As per contract; $21.59-$22.25 per hour with $1.35 shift differential after 3PM.
