Bullitt County Public Schools is requesting a waiver to fill this position before the standard 15-day posting period to ensure we are fully staffed for the upcoming school year.Old Mill Elementary School is looking for an energetic person to maintain the cleanliness of our school community. This person will perform routine custodial activities at an assigned school site or facility to maintain the buildings, land and keep the grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition.Position DetailsHours: 4 hours per dayWork Year: 182 days170 student instructional days4 holidays7 planning days1 extended dayContracted days will be adjusted based on start date. This position is considered full-time with benefits.Compensation Step 0: $14.84 per hour Step 10: $16.89 per hourNew employees may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (Upon hire, it is the employee's responsibility to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their previous employer.)Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust provide a copy to HR once recommended for hireHow Salary Is Calculated Classified positions are hourly, but pay is issued on a year-long contract and divided among remaining paychecks. Four paychecks are issued at the end of June.
